About

So who is this guy. . . ?

My name is James Worsham, and I'm the Handy Dandy himself. I grew up in New York and went to school in Florida, where I learned how to make stuff. Sculpture mostly, but a lot of bad jokes as well.

From there I ended up in Nashville, designing and executing window displays and installations for Anthropologie. I discovered my love of weird materials used in over the top yet elegant design, and decided to share those skills with the world at large. I left my dream job to start Handy Dandy Productions, and I've never been happier.

I'm a tinkerer who burns through sketchbooks just to get these crazy ideas out of my head. I spend the rest of my time designing dream spaces in my head, learning about the most random facets of social and ecological sciences and thinking about food. I love living in Nashville with my incredible husband and our (female) dog Walter.
